Below is a list of some of the most popular email clients for Window, MacOS, Android and iOS as well as the protocols and features they support in SmarterMail. In addition to the protocols listed below, SmarterMail also supports synchronization using IMAP, POP, CalDAV and CardDAV.
In early 2017, Microsoft began deprecating the use and support of EAS in Outlook for Windows. However, EAS is still the industry standard for synchronizing mobile devices. In addition, Microsoft has ended support for Sharepoint Sync outside of its use with Office 365. As a result, customers currently using either of these for synchronizing their accounts to Outlook for Windows should move to one of the supported protocols below.
It's worth noting, some clients show features as being Not Available (n/a). This is not a limitation of SmarterMail. The protocol simply doesn't support that particular feature for that client or the client itself lacks that feature. In addition, there are many more clients and applications available for email, calendars, contacts and more across all operating systems -- too many to list and provide complete capabilities.
