Twitch Streaming at SmarterTools

With the release of the new versions of SmarterMail, SmarterTrack and SmarterStats late last year, we also introduced free technical support for customers who keep their Maintenance and Support up-to-date. One of the reasons we did this was to provide some added benefit to customers who keep their licensing current and updated. While we always provided support tickets for any new purchase, or any renewal of “Upgrade Protection”, moving to a free support model just made sense as it gives customers and administrators peace of mind when they encounter issues, find bugs and more.

Today, we’re pleased to announce another great new service that benefits anyone who uses or manages a SmarterTools product.

Starting June 1st, anyone who purchases a new Enterprise Edition of any of our products will have the option to have a SmarterTools employee expertly install, and then configure, that product -- absolutely free.

As you go through our ordering process, you’re given the choice to either add the free installation or not. If you don’t want us to install your new purchase, that’s perfectly fine. However, as installation assistance is normally priced at $349.00, it’s really an option that’s too good to pass up.

What Does Free Installation Cover?

Once you’ve selected free installation during the purchase process, and after you check out, a ticket is automatically created with our Technical Support team. We will then reach out to you to get your installation scheduled during our normal business hours. In addition, we’ll talk to you about any special requirements you may have, how you want certain things configured, and generally get an understanding of your business needs and what you want from the product that we're installing.

After the product is installed, we’ll fully test it to make sure you can log in, that any necessary ports are responding, that features are turned on and ready to go, and much more. We’ll then work with you to ensure you can get into the product and begin doing whatever it is you need to do. What’s the Catch?

There isn’t one! When you choose the Enterprise Editions of our products, and consider all the add-ons and features that you can offer your customers, it can be a bit overwhelming. We’re offering this free service to help remove some of the burden from you and eliminate any concerns about getting things set up properly.

There are guidelines on what we will and won’t do during the installation process, of course, and installations will need to be scheduled during our business hours. However, there aren’t any hidden fees or any “gotchas” that you need to be concerned about. Moving forward, we’ll be looking at more ways we can streamline things for our customers, users, and the people who manage and administer any of our products. For now, offering free installation and configuration for Enterprise licenses allows us to ensure that customers get the full benefit of their product, and to make it is installed and running correctly, the first time. This makes it easier to use, easier to manage and ensures anyone who interacts with the product has the best experience possible from the very beginning.
