Applies to: SmarterTrack 3.x
In order to reset the primary administrator password in SmarterTrack 3.x, follow the instructions below. Note, the procedure requires access to the file system where SmarterTrack is installed.
- Browse to the file ..\SmarterTrack\App_Data\Config\SystemSettings.xml using Windows Explorer.
- Make a backup copy of that file.
- Right-click on SystemSettings.xml and choose Open With -> Notepad
- Find the section that looks like this:
<AdminUserName>...</AdminUserName>
<AdminPasswordEnc>....</AdminPasswordEnc>
- Delete these two lines and save the file.
- Restart IIS
You should now be able to log in to SmarterTicket by using the following:
Username: admin
Password: admin
