Troubleshooting - SmarterTicket Auto-responders are not being sent

Applies to: SmarterTicket 2.x            

Problem:

If SmarterTicket is not sending Auto-Responders do the following:

  1. Log in as the Admin
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Departments and Groups and ensure that the checkbox, enable Auto-responder, is checked.
  4. Check the error logs for problems related to the Auto-responder or SMTP. Check the relevant mail settings or contact your email administrator for help with mail delivery problems.

If you see the an exception in the error log such as, System.Web.HttpException: Could not access 'CDO.Message' object. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8002801D): Library not registered.

Resolution:

Open a cmd prompt and try:

regsvr32 "%windir%\system32\cdosys.dll
