If you're using SmarterMail
Sync 1.0 and you find a bug, please post here.
If you decide on sending in a support ticket to us here at
SmarterTools, or decide to post a thread about a particular issue,
remember a few basic guidelines-
- NEVER post your IP address, Phone number or any other PERSONAL information.
- If you find something, take a screenshot.
use imageshack.us or photobucket.com or putfile.com to host it if you can't.
- If you think you found a bug, try to make it happen again. The key to squashing bugs is making sure what is causing them.
- Be as detailed as possible in explaining the issue to support. This is key. Remember to include any information about
the server, programs that are running along with it (Antivirus,
Security programs, firewalls.) etc.
- This is optional, but always helps: If you have access to the
logfiles for SmarterMail Sync, include them by default. It makes things
easier for us and saves us time if we need those files. We want to
help, and this step in particular would do us an immense favor.
- Please try to use proper grammar and spelling.
- Always have the latest version of a product if you're experiencing a bug. We're going to end up telling you that anyway
