    Roles

    Roles:

    I have created a new role.  I have customized it as an employee role, with full access to tickets. I wanted to remove access to kb articles, news and reporting.

    When i assign the role to an employee it only grants them the same access as a registered user. 

    Any ideas??

    In order for your agent to have access to the management interface they must have one or more of the following roles enabled for their account:

    • Agent
    • Manager
    • System Administrator
    • Database Administrator

    Custom roles are able to be added so you can limit what this user is able to do once they are actually in the management interface.

    Hope this clears things up a bit.
