We installed the product a few days ago and it has been running fine. This is IIS7/MySQL/WIndows 2008
This AM we were nto able to login. No response to any user id/password when login is pressed. Not even the error message if the login is not OK.
If we login into the server and access the product via IIS (internet explorer) it works as exepcted. But the same symptoms appear when we go to a remote system.
Other functions such as knowledgebase work fine. Also, if we try to create a duplicate user we get the error message, if we ask for a forgotten password we get the e-mail with the password, etc. It's just login that has stopped working.
The only item of note in the logs is:

When we do login in on the server and run self-diagnostic everything passes.
Restarting the web-site for smartertrack doesn't change anything.
We had to restart the server to get it working again, something that we can't do on a regular basis.
Any ideas?
update: looks like it is only happening on the pc's on one of our lan's
