    tracking mail per user

    Hi,

I would like to be able to offer clients a report that tracks incoming/outgoing mail daily for them--either at a mailbox level and/or domain level.  This would include mail that was rejected (spam, etc.).

Can anyone offer a starting point for this?  Woud this need to be a custom report based on parsing the log files?  I've done it this way for other servers and can do it again.  If I have to. Reluctantly. Ick!

I've just put a couple of domains on Smartermail so far and I haven't seen any outbound mail going out for users, so I'm a little concerned on how to track that.

    Thanks much!

SmarterMail has tons of built in reports for this already. You can see how much mail a user sent/received, how much of it was spam, etc.
