    Archiving Email

    Running SmarterMail 4.3

     

    I need to be able to archive all incoming/outgoing email for a specific domain on my SmarterMail server. Is this possible "out of the box" and if so where can I find the information on how to do that? If not, what suggestions can anyone make?

    Hello,

    The feature is available but requires the enterprise license:

    I have also seen third party companies that do the archiving in an exchange environment such as Global Relay:

    http://www.globalrelay.com/

    I am not sure if it requires the exchange environment though so it will require contacting them or possible someone else can reply that has used it in this kind of setup but I mentioned it because there are companies out there that will archive your email for you.

     Is there a certain version of Enterprise that you must have?  Mine shows "SmarterMail Enterprise 5.5", yet I have no settings anywhere whatsoever for archiving.  I have read the help article and I have no folder for Routing under my Settings, and nothing else there that allows me to set up archiving.

    I believe this has to be set up by the System Administrator.  I see the option on our server (logged in as the admin).
