SyncML & Funambol : Amount of data for a typical sync?

    Hi,

Anybody knows how much data is transfered on the wireless network for a typical sync (SM 5 + BlackBerry) ?

    I mean, XX K / contact, x K / calendar entry?

Any experience with higher cell phone bill from above average data transfer?

    Thanks!

The initial sync will be the only large one. The data is sent base64 encoded in either XML/SIF format or vcalendar/vcard format, which I would estimate adds about 200% overhead to the amount of data in a calendar item/contact item. Overall, I think 1-2k per item would be a safe estimate.
