Content Filters are filtering content that they are not supposed to...

I have added a content filter on "Email Body" for the following words (each one is on their own line and does not include the double quotes) "viagra", "cialis" & "levitra"

Now, many more emails that just the ones containing these words are being deleted as the logs show that it was "(Deleted) Filter: Email Body"

Has anyone else run into this or is there a document that better describes how to create these content filters?

You are using content filters as an anti-spam solution. That is not the intent of content filtering.

If you have entered cialis as a word to be filtered out, the content filter will also filter out specialist.

    Fair enough...

So what is the best way to handle my situation?

Many SPAM emails are marked as SPAM HIGH: but some that are not spam are also marked as SPAM HIGH: and therefore I do not want to automatically Delete these messages.

Is there a way to tell it to search for whole word matches and not just pieces of words?

You may want to review your spam filtering weight threshold and actions under Antispam Administration

Log in as System Admin | Security | Antispam Administration | Filtering tab
