Configuring spamassassin on an external linux server

I'm setting up an external linux box to run spamassassin - is it enough to just change the ip and port (from 127.0.0.1 / 783) or is there more to it?

    Thanks

    Hi,

If SpamAssassin is running correctly and accepting connnections, all you have to do is to add the server IP and to activate "Multithreading".

Check your logs on the linux server to confirm if its working or not.
