[URGENT!] Tickets with nested replies will not open after upgrading to latest version

    [URGENT!] Tickets with nested replies will not open after upgrading to latest version

    We are no longer able to open and reply to tickets that have nested reply histroy. It does not matter if we try on firefox or IE

     We have several tickets now that if we try and hit reply it hangs and we have to quit the browser and reopen it. This only started after the upgrade.

    If it's urgent, contact our support department.  They can dedicate a person to resolving your issue.  Most likely this will involve getting into your install to see it happening and figure out the email contents. 

    I've said this before, but I'll repeat it for others' benefits.  This forum is frequently visited and active by our staff, but it is NOT a substitute for real, dedicated support help.  The response time just isn't good enough to get quality help.

    I do place support tickets for these level of issues but I also place them here for the benefit of others.

    There is a support request open now on this issue.

     to add onto this, it is not only affecting nested replied to tickets but new tickets coming in to. I have two tickets in the past two days that are corrupt and will not open for reply.

    Update: It is infact any ticket with forwarded or replied to information regardeless if it is a ST nested history or forwarded form an external source. After looking at the second ticket from today, it has forwarded information in it.

    Something in the update broke the ability to view forwarded information

    Not a problem, just making sure you didn't overlook starting a ticket.  I believe the team has asked for a copy of some files so they can reproduce the problem.

    Yup, just sent a link to download a backup of our DB.

    This does seem to be  areply and or nested reply issue

    First of all, special thanks for sending those items in.  Our dev team was able to immediately reproduce it and resolve the problem.  The issue was with a whitespace detection regular expression that was going crazy on certain formatted emails.  That routine was replaced with one that was more predictable (and faster) and a build was sent to you.  As a side note, since this was a bug, your ticket was refunded to you.

    If anyone else is having issues like this, contact sales @at smartertools.com and ask them for the build that fixes the issue.  You can also live chat our staff and ask for it.
