    Importing problem with new drobo

    We have just installed a new drobo nas box and have put all of our log files on it. I pointed the smarterStats software to it, but the stats don't look correct because there are a lot less page views since I switched the unc path to point at the drobo. We are also getting this error in the status section of the site info page. Import Error: 8/25/2008 1:04 PM - The request is not supported.

    Hi John,

    I'm guessing it's permissions related.  Make sure you run the SmarterStats service under a domain account that has permission to your NAS.

    If that's not it, check the SSSvc log.  It should have more information on the error.  By default the SSSvc.log file is located at "c:\Program Files\SmarterTools\SmarterStats\Service\SSSvc.log"

    Thanks for the response. We figured it out. We had the drobo sharing an ip address.
