    Attachments - Corrupted Files

    Good Morning Everyone,

I have a situation here with downloading attachments and every single one of them becoming corrupt. First off, I can access my e-mail fine from home or in my primary office when downloading and opening attachments. Whenever I am at a clients facility, the attachments I download seem to download in full, but when you open them, they throw errors of corruption.

Now, the issue only started about 3 weeks ago, prior to this I did not have any issues. Nothing new has changed in the network/firewall realm at the clients facility. Also, all traffic is permitted from our mail domain inbound/outbound on the clients end. I sat down with the technician and he did not find anything newly installed on my machine, whether it was patches or updates, or new software. He also disclosed information that no changes have been made to the firewall or network since mid June. Again, the issue only started about 3 weeks ago, beginning of July.

Has anyone experienced this type of issue? Would it be wise to ask that they set an Outlook Client up for POP3 access rather then going through the web based?

I confirmed with our internal IT that we are running SmarterMail V4.3.3048.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

     Will
