Difference between whitelisting and Trusted Senders

    Hi, Smile

I have just started to use smartermail, great so far but im unsure what is better to do.

Is it better to have a trusted senders list for domains or add IP addresses to the whitelist.

How does smartermail handle a message which is in either a whitelist or a trusted sender?

We have some support emails that have to come through to our domain, if we add them to the trusted list is all filterin bypassed? or is that only when an ip is added to a whitelist.

     Thanks

Whitelist is the IP. Which can inlude any email sent from any email address on that server.

Trusted Sender is just the email address. Which can be spoofed by anyone.

    Both have pros and cons.
