Greetings. We are in the process of moving from Imail to SmarterMail 4.3. The new SM4 server has had all our email accounts recreated from scratch, no conversion tool was used. However, some users were set with a generic password just to get their account added on the new server. To resolve this issue we did run the Imail to SM4 conversion utility and set it to write to a temp folder. From there we attempted to copy the password out of the temp userConfig.xml file and paste it into thier actual userConfig.xml file. This does not seem to work. Even after copying the password over, the old password is still set. Are user passwords stored somewhere else other than the userConfig.xml file?
