I keep getting the runtime error: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

 I have set the IIS setting for the folder to application.  I am stuck.  Is there anything else required or does this product not work with shared hosting plans.  Please help

GoDaddy has to support .Net 2.0, allow for full trust mode, and allow you to set the required permissions on the App_Data folder.  If they do, you can get it to work.  I'd contact them.

Thanks for such a speedy response.  Reading the forums, you guys are great.  I am contacting GoDaddy now with this issue.

I currently have ASP.Net 2.0, and applied read, write persmissions to the directory.  I also set the folder as an application via IIS.

Maybe I need to switch from Godaddy.  Anyone with godaddy with this issue?

Any suggestions on a good hosting service?
