Installing 5.0 on Windows Vista Home Premium

I am trying to rebuild my server, and not sure how long it will take, so I want to install SmarterMail  5.0 on a windows vista machine I have while my server is down.  Using IIS 7.0 is a little different, but I got my web server running; now I have SmarterMail installed, and running… sort of, I can access the web interface and send emails to local users that can be seen and read only through the web interface, but can not get access through SMTP/POP3.  Also when sending emails from an external source, they email delivery fails, it just can not reach my server.  Everythign was working great untill I moved off the Windows 2000 server.

Has anybody set up Smartermail on Vista?  Does anybody know where I can get a detailed instruction on this type of installation and configuration?

check your firewall, you might have the port(s) blocked.

Firewall has those ports open and forwarding to the IP of the new "server".  I did not change that configuration, from what was working before (just the ip of the Vista machine).  I have done a port scan on the Vista Machine, and port 25 and 110 are closed

You need to make changes to the windows firewall in vista and open those ports
