    [SUGGESTION] - Multiple Signatures

Some of our queues could really benefit from the ability for us to use a different signature based upon the department, or to have a departmental signature. Perhaps a feature that would put the agent signature block, immediately followed by the department signature or footer would be wonderful!!!

As an example, if an agent responds to a billing question, it could put the agents name (agent signature) followed by the department and company contact information (department footer/signature).

We've received that request a few times now.  The debate here is mostly about how such a feature would be configured, etc.  I'd hate to force admins to enter signatures for every user-group relationship that gets added.....

    Hi, Grady. Good point.

However, my thought is a department signature and agent signature. Ticket would use both, if they exist. Just an idea.

That could work as long as the HTML content was carefully put together.  That may not solve the issue of people who have different titles per department though.  For example, I may be "Sales Manager" in the sales department, but "Billing Assistant" in the billing department (if I was in training for transition).

Dude!  You're tough! Ok, then, maybe the option is an agent default signature, and one that is associated with the department, for that agent. The default is used unless their is an agent department signature. The other option, as I see it, would be like Outlook does it where there is a "signature picker" drop down, so an agent could select which signature to use.

All in all, though, not a big issue, just a (perhaps) nice feature

I definately feel like the "department override" method may work best.  And yes, I tend to analyze quite a bit so I can pre-screen the ideas for the team to discuss.  It's easier that way for everyone.

I LIKE it. (Can it be in the next beta release?) ha, ha... just kidding.  Thanks for all your super work, Grady. Nobody tends to tell PMs when they are doing good work.
