For those that want to use the manual installer package to get more control over the setup process, here's the basics:

Download and extract the installer

Copy the SmarterTrack folder to where you want to put the web site (usually C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SmarterTrack)

Grant the "Network Service" or "ASPNET" user modify permissions to the App_Data folder and all subfolders

Add the web site to IIS and configure as you would any other site

Set the web site to use ASP.Net 2.0

It is recommended (though not absolutely required) to use a separate app pool for SmarterTrack
