We have some customers who have to VPN into other networks and are able to send mail via 2525 but onable to pop mail They are desperately in need of an alternate port to port 110 for pop. We would love to see this in a future version of Smarter Mail and also open to suggestions from anyone else who has run into this and has a workaround.

For a quick solution, you can simply set any one of your domains to use POP on a different port.
The way SmarterMail works is by "pooling" all of its listening sockets. They are not purely for that domain. Any domain can use any socket.
