Merge two accounts into one (merge .grp files)?

    Hi there.

I have two accounts I need to merge into one.  Both have a full inbox and I'd like to keep emails from both of them, and merge them into one.  How can I go about doing this?

I set up a dummy account and tried to rename the .grp's to something like 2008_1_9-2.grp (as the 2nd one), deleted and rebuilt the mailbox.cfg, but that didn't bring in the "-2" based .grp files.

Anyone have any insight on this?

    THanks!

You can use IMAP to move / copy emails from the 2 accounts into the dummy one.

    Thanks for the reply!

Agreed, but there's a lot of email involved.  I was hoping for a server-side solution if one is available?

    Thanks again...

The most easiest way is IMAP. But I bet there will be a physical way but first try it on test accounts.
