    IIS Logs not being created....

    Hello all,

I have smarter stats up and running on a IIS 6.0 web server.  The company's web site's we are tracking are on the same server.  I have Smarter Stats Enterprise version  3.0.2070.  I have no problem with 3 of the 5 web sites I want to monitor.  There are 2 other web sites with the same logging and security settings, which only have one log file, created on the day the website was brought live.

Anybody have an idea about could be preventing IIS from creating logs?

    Thanks,

    James

Make sure that the IIS website acutally has IIS logging enabled.  You can go to IIS, the Website properties, on the Website tab make sure the Enable Loggin is checked.

Logging is on, double checked the directory it goes to.  When smarter stats auto-detects the log directory for the web site, it is the correct directory.

There is only one log file in the directory, which is the day the web site was started.  Smarter collects the data for that one log. I have checked the permissions on the web sites and on the directories, compared the setup in IIS for all sites and they seem to be identical.

Three web sites collect the data correctly, two do not.

     Thanks,
    James

     Hi James,

Did you get a solution for this. I appear to be having the same problem?

     Thanks,

    Neil
