    Email Report Setting

    Hi,

I have installed my smarter stats on VPS and I have noticed that I don’t have the ability of using email report setting and export Logs or in another word I should say it’s missing.

The hosting support team asked me to find out what is the email component you use to send out that reports through smarter stats program.  Are you using CDONTS?

I would be grateful if you could let me know, how I can add these sections to my smarter stats as it is necessary.

    Regards,

The scheduled email reporting feature is part of the Enterprise Edition.  However, you can email a specific report from within SmarterStats.

If you want to be able to export logs files, you need to configure this when you create the site ie. through the Edit Site there is a section for Export Log Settings.  If this is not configured when you first create the site then, you cannot export the SmarterStats log files.

    Re: Email Report Setting

    Thank you for your answer.

We are looking to have a specific email report such as daily total traffic which it will show our visitors number and page views, but unfortunately we do not have access to this feature in our smarter stat. I would be grateful if you could advise us about how we should setup our smarter stat to be able report a specific page by email. As I know, when this feature is available to use, we need to add our email address and SMTP server in email report setting based in site setting in each smarter stats site and then chose send to email from task, then you will be able to send this specific report by email.

The problem is, we do not have access to what I mentioned above. I don’t have the email report setting in site setting and also I don’t have sent to email menu in my task bar.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Regards,

    Re: Email Report Setting

In the Enterprise version of SmarterStats you have the ability to configure custom reports and then schedule their delivery either, daily, weekly or monthly.

    Hope this helps.
