I cannot connect to POP3 mail server

    I cannot connect to POP3 mail server

    Hi:

    I make upgrade from 3.x to 4.x and now i can't get the emails from POP3 but I can sent ( oultook cannot connect to your incoming POP3 email  server The error is 0x80042108).

    The IMAP work fine is outlook 2007

    Check the Enable/Disable Services in the SmarterMail webmail interface and make sure that the POP Service is turned on.  Also, check the Protocol Settings and make sure that in the POP tab your Threads are not set to 0.

    Also, try a telnet session to your IP on port 110 to make sure the port is open.

    If this does not resolve your issue then, I would open a Support incident with Tech Support.

    Hi, Thank for you help. I chechk all that you tell me and every thing was like you told me, only I test change in security tab/ Catch-Alls/ put enable and the emails begins download inmediatly, I don't know why but that was the solution.
