    POP Retrieval - Date Problems

    I'm moving customers over to SmarterMail 4, and I'm using the POP Retrieval feature to pull their email from their old account into their new SM4 account.  The problem is this:

    I have customers with a decent size mailbox (2500 - 5000) emails that are being pulled over.  Rather than these emails keeping their Received Date that previously existed, I have thousands of emails all with the exact same receive date - now.

    Is there a work around, or anything I can do to resolve this?

    What server are you moving from.  There are conversion tools for several of them.  The other option would be to setup two IMAP accounts in an email client.  One to the old server and one to the new server.  Then just drag and drop the emails from one account to the other.

    The IMAP idea is a good one.  I think I might try that out.

     I'm moving from Exchange Server 2003, if that helps.
