Pricing for the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync add-on is based on a licensing structure similar to the product licensing levels. This allows organizations to purchase more Exchange ActiveSync mailboxes as their company grows by paying the pro-rated difference between levels. For example, a company that originally purchased the Exchange ActiveSync add-on for 50 mailboxes can upgrade to the 100 mailbox level by paying the pro-rated difference between both levels.

The Commtouch Premium Antispam and Commtouch Zero-hour Antivirus add-ons are sold in licensing levels that correspond to the product license level. For example, a company using SmarterMail for 1,000 mailboxes will need to purchase the Commtouch Premium Antispam add-on for 1,000 mailboxes.
License Modifications and Upgrades
Beginning August 10, 2009, SmarterTools customers are provided 12 months of upgrade protection coverage with the purchase of any new SmarterMail, SmarterTrack, or SmarterStats license. Upgrade protection includes access to all major and minor version upgrades for 12 months from the date of purchase at no additional charge. Customers can upgrade the level or edition of a SmarterMail, SmarterTrack, or SmarterStats license at any time.
