Phoenix, AZ — July 10th, 2007
— SmarterTools Inc., a premier developer of hosted Windows™ applications, is proud to announce the
release of SmarterMail 4.3—a robust mail server with over twenty new features and improved functions.
SmarterMail boasts a truly scalable solution with unparalleled stability and fully integrated antispam and
antivirus protection right out-of-the-box.
Added features and improvements include:
-
The SmarterMail Greylisting feature—which
stops up to 80% of spam at the edge of the mail network—now has
whitelisting functionality. Administrators
can enable this new feature to speed email delivery without sacrificing protection.
-
SmarterMail 4.3 now includes an updated SmarterMail Sync for Outlook™ that improves compatibility with Windows
Vista™ and Microsoft Outlook™ 2007.
-
There is also a new version of SmarterMail Sync specifically built for
SmartPhones in addition to the existing SmarterMail Sync
for PocketPC.
-
Auto clean options have been enhanced to help end-users control the ever-increasing sizes of their mailboxes.
-
SmarterMail 4.3 has been updated with the most recent ClamAV
binaries and signatures.
-
Many more additions and enhancements.
“We have worked very hard to build one of the most robust and stable mail server infrastructures in the industry. SmarterTools
and its customers are now able to reap the benefits of this infrastructure with frequent minor releases of SmarterMail that are
focused on new features and not fixes,” said Tim Uzzanti, CEO of SmarterTools Inc.
Customers with a current version of SmarterMail 4.x are able to download version 4.3 for FREE by navigating to our
